The La Néréide ensemble was born from the meeting of three talented young sopranos during their singing studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. Julie Roset, Ana Vieira Leite and Camille Allérat have chosen to combine their voices and play on different ranges for varied programs mixing solos, duets and trios. The ensemble tackles the repertoire of madrigals written for the three Ladies of Ferrara, three singers whom the whole of Europe admired and envied for secret concerts reserved for an aristocratic audience.
Julie Roset, a magnificent discovery from the previous edition of the Festival, has just won 1st prize in the prestigious Opéralia competition, under the presidency of Plácido Domingo.
For this programme, Anne-Laure Hulin replaces Ana Vieira Leite who was originally scheduled to take part but fell ill.
