PRIMARY, SECONDARY & COLLEGE
The Saint-Denis Festival provides year-round experiences for primary and secondary school students. Classes attend an introductory session run by a Festival artist/participant before watching concerts and open rehearsals at the Basilica.
MASTERCLASSES, CONFERENCES & CONCERTS AT THE MAISONS DE QUARTIER
The Festival collaborates with Plaine Commune and Seine-Saint-Denis music schools every year. The Festival sees it as a way to provide a “resource” centre for local young amateurs or musicians about to begin their career in collaboration with Plaine Commune musical schools.

The Festival strives to bring art and music to the masses (schoolchildren, associations, amateur choir singers) and runs several participatory projects that tie into the schedule.

The Saint-Denis Festival and Métis run countless educational activities throughout the year that support local university students in their studies, provide associations with cultural events that tie into the schedule and invest in partnerships with local cultural bodies.
The Saint-Denis Festival’s concerts are broadcast live on a big screen on the Basilica forecourt every year. Saint-Denis residents can watch the outdoor concerts for free on deckchairs on the forecourt or at the nearby café and restaurant terraces.
