Laurent Lévy has been acting and directing since the age of fifteen. His theatre credits include work with Jean-Pierre Vincent, Jérôme Savary, Joël Pommerat, Eric Vigner, Cécile Backès, Patrick Haggiag, Yves Beaunesne, Laurent Vacher, Didier Ruiz, Benoît Lambert, Laurent Fréchuret, Stéphane Braunschweig and Benoit di Marco.
His film credits include Johann Sfar’s Gainsbourg and Daniel Janneau’s Le Vernis craque (playing Toulouse-Lautrec). He has taken part in a number of drama productions for France-Culture and has appeared on television. He has a special bond with Japan, where he performs in Japanese, notably at the Tokyo National Theatre.
Since 2017, he has taken part in Jean Bechetoille’s plays: Comment Igor a disparu and Vie et mort d’un chien translated from Danish by Niels Nielsen.
