After studying musicology, Jordan Mouaïssia joined the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris in Rosa Dominguez’s class. He took part in numerous master classes there (Regina Werner, Anna le Bozec, Margreet Honig, Jocelyne Dienst) and graduated in 2020.
Winner of three prizes at the Froville International Singing Competition (Audience Prize, Génération Opéra Prize and Garnelli Factory Prize), Jordan Mouaïssia has been heard in St Matthew’s Passion (conductor Jos van Veldhoven), Cupid & Death (conductor Sébastien Daucé; Emily Wilson, Jos Houben) and at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Mozart’s Requiem (conductor Henri Chalet) in January 2023.
Jordan Mouaïssia’s stage roles include Panatellas in Offenbach’s La Périchole at the Opéra de Bayonne and Gernando in Haydn’s L’Isola Disabitata as part of the 12×12 Festival in Paris.
His discography includes Yves Castagnet’s Magnificat, the role of Christ in Mozart’s Die Schuldigkeit des ersten Geboteswith Camille Delaforge and the ensemble Il Caravaggio, and soon Monteverdi’s Vespers with Emilano Gonzalez Toro’s ensemble I Gemelli and Mathilde Etienne.
This season he is Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte at the Caylus Festival. He has also appeared at the Opéra du Capitole in Toulouse, the Opéra de Lausanne and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as I Gemelli in Monteverdi’s Orfeo and in La liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola d’Alcina by Francesca Caccini.
Jordan Mouaïssia is also a laureate of the Fondation Royaumont.
In 2024-2025 he joined the Studio Lyrique of the ensemble Il Caravaggio, directed by Camille Delaforge, with whom he performed Campra’s Le Carnaval de Venise in 2025.
