Cyrielle Ndjiki Nya, a soprano of Cameroonian origin, is a promising opera singer trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. She is renowned for her powerful and expressive voice, particularly well-suited to the French and Italian lyrical repertoire.
Her career has been marked by early appearances in demanding roles such as Cornelia in Haendel’s Jules César and Elettra in Mozart’s Idomeneo. She has also taken part in prestigious productions, including Strauss’s Elektra at the Opéra National de Bordeaux and Boieldieu’s La Dame Blanche, performed in both Paris and Shanghai.
In 2017, she joined the ensemble of the Atelier Lyrique Opera Fuoco, an experience that allowed her to broaden her repertoire and take part in international projects. A prize-winner in several competitions and supported by foundations such as Tarrazzi and the Fondation de France, she continues to distinguish herself through her vocal versatility and charismatic stage presence.
For the 2024–2025 season, she features in several prestigious productions. Among them, she performs excerpts from Spontini’s La Vestale at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in a production conducted by Christophe Rousset. She also collaborates with the Orchestre National de Montpellier Occitanie on major works such as Verdi’s La Forza del Destinoand Beethoven’s Fidelio.
