Her debut as Haendel’s Partenope with Les Arts Florissants in 2021 marked the start of an extraordinary career for Ana Vieira Leite. Since then, she has established herself as one of the leading young sisters in the field of Baroque music, and has performed at the Grand Théâtre de Génève, the Opéra Comique and the Opéra Bastille in Paris, the Lucerne Festival, the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía Valencia, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, the Royal Opera of Versailles and the Philharmonie de Paris.
During the 2023/24 season, she will make her debut as Créuse in Médée by Charpentier at the Paris Opera, a role she will also sing at the Teatro Real Madrid, Dalinda in Haendel’s Ardodante at the Philharmonie de Paris, Messiah at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne and a concert at the Salle des concerts – Cité de la musique with opera and concert arias by W. A. Mozart conducted by Paul Agnew.
Ana Vieira Leite is a laureate of Les Arts Florissants’ “Jardin des Voix » academy and sang the role of Partenope by Haendel during the ensemble’s European tour under William Christie in the 2021/22 season and at the Lanaudière Festival in Canada in July 2023. She has worked with a number of ensembles including Les Arts Florissants (William Christie/Paul Agnew), Capella Mediterranea (Leonardo García Alarcón), Musica Temprana (Adrian Van Der Spoel), Holland Baroque, Le Concert d’Hostel Dieu (Franck-Emmanuel Comte), Les Argonautes (Jonas Descotte), Divino Sospiro (Massimo Mazzeo), Músicos do Tejo (Marcos Magalhães), Ensemble Bonne Corde (Diana Vinagre), Pulcinella (Ophélia Gaillard), Concerto 1700 (Daniel Pinteño), Los Elementos (Alberto Miguelez Rouco), La Spagna (Alejandro Marías), Il Fervore (Jesús Ruiz), Cappella Neapolitana (Antonio Florio)and La Grande Chapelle (Albert Recasens).
Ana Vieira Leite is a graduate of the Geneva University of Music, where she obtained her Master’s degree and was awarded the “Ville de Genève” prize for her outstanding work.
