ELEMENTARY, SECONDARY & HIGH SCHOOLS
All year long, the Festival de Saint-Denis leads adapted courses for students, from elementary to high schools. The classes concerned are prepared in advance by the Festival host artists and are then invited to attend concerts and dress rehearsals in the Basilica.
MASTERCLASSES, MEETINGS, COLLABORATIONS & OPEN GENERAL MEETINGS
Every year, the Festival continues its collaboration with Plaine Commune and Seine-Saint-Denis conservatories. The aim is for the Festival to position itself as a ‘resource’ structure for young amateur or pre-professional musicians in the area, in collaboration with the conservatoires and music schools of Plaine Commune.

The Festival is committed to making artistic and musical practice accessible to a wide range of audiences (schools, associations, amateur singer), and has set up several participatory projects in connection with its programme : an orchestral and a choral.

Thanks to several awareness-raising actions taking place throughout the whole year, the Festival de Saint-Denis and Métis accompany students of the area in their university cursus, supervise their associations in the culture course linked with the Festival line-up, and commit in partnerships with the area cultural institution.
The Saint-Denis Festival’s concerts are broadcast live on a big screen on the Basilica forecourt every year. Saint-Denis residents can watch the outdoor concerts for free on deckchairs on the forecourt or at the nearby café and restaurant terraces.
