MAHLER SYMPHONY N°5
MAHLER KINDERTOTENLIEDER N°1, 2 & 5
This concert marks a big comeback by the Orchestre National de Lille, now led by Alexandre Bloch, to the Festival de Saint-Denis.
Driven by his contagious energy and enthusiasm, the talented French conductor offers us Mahler’s Fifth Symphony after a performance of the Kindertotenlieder by Benjamin Appl. HIs mentor was the great Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, and he comes to us after making stunning start to his career.
