If the virtuoso trumpet of Ibrahim Maalouf wanders, migrating from jazz to funk and classical to electro music, its primary respiration always remains inspired from its native Lebanon.

Ibrahim reunites with the Basilica. Saint-Denis and the Festival reunite with Ibrahim. The common history that first began seven years ago continues to be written with this new creation featuring surprise guest stars, in which the lead role is entrusted to the artist’s famed quarter tone trumpet.

Basilique de Saint-Denis

The royal Basilica of Saint-Denis used to be the church of a prosperous, powerful abbey in the Middle Ages, and was the first monumental masterpiece of Gothic art. The royal necropolis houses the tombs of the Kings of France, and boasts remarkable funeral sculptures from the 12th century to the 16th century (Dagobert, Pepin the Short, Francis I, Catherine de’ Medici…)
