The Requiem of Berlioz conducted by Valery Gergiev is a global event.
A monumental work, it mobilises massive choral and orchestral forces. The Orchestre National de France, the Radio France Choir and the Choir of the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome form an ensemble of nearly 300 artists on the stage!
Following Colin Davis at the 2008 Festival and Sir John Eliot Gardiner in 2012, Valery Gergiev, at the head of the Orchestre National, the French orchestra of reference for this work, will in turn offer us a version that will undoubtedly remain in the annals of music.
